Lion G. Jithendra Kumar is a young and dynamic leader endowed with a highly philanthropic nature and has been continuously serving the community. He has espoused many noble causes such as conducting Annadanam every Saturday in his mill premises for the past 12 years and providing free water supply to the needy.

He is an ardent devotee, deeply religious, who has donated to many temples and charitable organizations. He is also associated with several social, educational and community institutions. He was the Secretary for Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy District Rice Millers Association and Additional General secretary of Vassavi Arya Vysya Hostel.
He is a successful industrialist and owner of Rice Mills under the brand name of Gayathri. Lion Jithendra Kumar is a Lion of 25 years standing. He joined Lions Club of Dilsukhnagar in 1984 and in 1992 moved to Lions Club of Hayathnagar. He served as President of his club, Zone chairperson, Region Chairperson and as District Chairperson, Leadership Development as part of the MERLOW team.

Hi is a good organizer and conducted successfully RC ZC training at Goa. He is also a good planner, conducting social excursions for Lions such as the Lions south India Tour. He organized Mega Zone Social involving 11 Zones at Mount Opera with 1300 Lions attending He was responsible for twinning activities Particularly with rural Lions Clubs. He has Successfully extended Lions Club of New Gayathri Nagar.

Lion Jithendra Kumar won Several awards such as 100 percent President Award, International President’s Appreciation Certificate three times and for his outstanding services. As DC Leadership Development he has been awarded the most prestigious International President’s Presidential Medal. He is a Trustee of Lions Bhavan, a Melvin Jones Fellow. Life member Indian Red Cross & Life member ISKCON. He was elected unanimously as Vice district Governor II for 2009-10. He is happily married to Lion Lady Vijayalakshmi and blessed with 2 daughters and a son.
